Functional Integration

In an individual session, or FI – Functional Integration – I use gentle touch to bring movements into the lesson. These movements are adapted to directly address the needs and desires of each individual person. This means that the person can relax and engage in their own perception.

The lessons can take place lying down, sitting, or standing; depending on the requested topic. A session lasts about 60 minutes, comfortable clothes are all you need, and no previous experience is necessary.

I teach in Rossatz in the Wachau valley, in the rooms of Matsya Yoga – about 15 minutes from Krems and easy to reach from Dürnstein, Mautern, Spitz and the surrounding district.

Together, a learning space is opened up. This makes it possible to move out of pain or discomfort to a life of ease and lightness, through a more attentive presence in everyday life. What you find in the lesson travels with you: into the way you sit, walk, work and make music.

People come with tension in the back or neck, after an injury, during a demanding period of life – or because a movement that used to be easy no longer is. The Feldenkrais Method is a learning method; it does not replace medical or therapeutic treatment.
